Clinton, Trump head to the Hamptons for Cash


EAST HAMPTON, NY, August 10, 2016 — According to The Hamptons List™ magazine political gatherings for the presidential race warm up on the South Fork this weekend, with a mixer for  in East Hampton on Saturday and a few donation-raising activities for the Clinton campaign booked for the end of this month.



The Trump mixer will happen on Saturday night at the home of Woody Johnson, the proprietor of the New York Jets. Dwindle Kalikow of Montauk, the previous administrator of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority who heads a Manhattan land firm, is a co-host, and its suspected that Anthony Scaramucci of the SkyBridge Capital venture firm will also be a co-host.
“I’ve known Donald Trump for a long time, and I think he would make an incredible president,” Mr. Kalikow said yesterday through a delegate. Howard Lorber, a specialist and speculator who is administrator of the Southampton Hospital Foundation, is an additional co-host. He is among those just named by Mr. Trump to help with campaign finances.
